Book of Enoch - effect of faith?

Obviously one of my first questions before I started reading this book is does it effect my faith. Does it contradict the Holy Bible - NO.
For me this book is informative and it does not change anything in the bible. It just fills in the gap of information at the start of time that is not elaborated on much in the bible.
Does it have relevance in the Bible - YES, read JUDE.  "Jud_1:14  And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, "
The author obviously had read the scrolls of Enoch. This is also a new testament author.
Why then is the book of Enoch not in the bible. Apparanetly beacuse it was originally written in aramaic and the Israelites or Jews thus did not include it. Further somewhere the scrolls were destroyed and or hidden in AD era.

living in the day of tribulation, when all the wicked and godless are to be removed. And he took up his parable and said --Enoch a righteous man, whose eyes were opened by God, saw the vision of the Holy One in the heavens, which the angels showed me, and from them I heard everything, and from them I understood as I saw, but not for this generation, but for a remote one which is

for to come. Concerning the elect I said, and took up my parable concerning them: The Holy Great One will come forth from His dwelling,

And the eternal God will tread upon the earth, (even) on Mount Sinai,
[And appear from His camp]
And appear in the strength of His might from the heaven of heavens.

And all shall be smitten with fear
And the Watchers shall quake,
And great fear and trembling shall seize them unto the ends of the earth.

And the high mountains shall be shaken,
And the high hills shall be made low,
And shall melt like wax before the flame.

Where is the info. of Enoch?

Jud 1:14  And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

Jud 1:15  To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

Heb_11:5  By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God

The Lord

Psa 110:1  A Psalm of David. The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

Jesus seated next to the Father.

Proof that Jesus is King

King Zedekiah is biblically the last earth bound man to rule Israel. That is in the Babylon era. Yet God said to Jeremiah -

"Jer 33:21 Then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers."

So Jesus is of the line of David, and yet there has been no King on the throne of Israel since that time according to the Jews. This is because of Gods covenant with David. Jesus reigns as King, Israel will not see an earthbound king again until the Antichrist poses himself as the messiah!

Obey these commands and ye will obey all His laws because of your love

Mat 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Mat 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.
Mat 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Mat 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

The bible and the horse

"Psa_32:9 Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.
Psa_33:17 An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.
Pro_21:31 The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD."

The horse was the symbolism of power on earth, yet your guard and safety is from the Lord. Depend on Him, not your machines. Wait on Him.

The Lord rescues us in times of trouble

Psa_60:11 Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.
Psa_108:12 Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

Dont slack in the end. Keep steadfast.

2Pe 3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
2Pe 3:4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

Floods of present day?

Nahum 1:8 But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies.

Nahum 1:14 And the LORD hath given a commandment concerning thee, that no more of thy name be sown: out of the house of thy gods will I cut off the graven image and the molten image: I will make thy grave; for thou art vile.

What spirit are we and you from?

1Jn_4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
