The bible and the horse

"Psa_32:9 Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.
Psa_33:17 An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.
Pro_21:31 The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD."

The horse was the symbolism of power on earth, yet your guard and safety is from the Lord. Depend on Him, not your machines. Wait on Him.

1 comment:

  1. Est_6:9 And let this apparel and horse be delivered to the hand of one of the king's most noble princes, that they may array the man withal whom the king delighteth to honour, and bring him on horseback through the street of the city, and proclaim before him, Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delighteth to honour.

Yet Jesus rode on a donkey, not on a horse! Is this because he was not filled with pride?
